DfT Accredited Course (SCD A 11.2.3.9) - Training for persons implementing security controls at a regulated premises including warehouse, other than screening.
This course is specifically designed for persons who are responsible for implementing security controls for cargo and mail, excluding screening cargo, in compliance with UK Regulations SCD A under section 11.2.3.9.
Comprehensive training which covers the following modules:
Module 1 - The Threat to Aviation
Module 2 - Security in the Aviation Industry
Module 3 - The Trainee's Role
Module 6 - Overview of Cargo and Mail
Module 8 - Acceptance and Dispatch of Cargo and Mail
Module 9A - Prohibited Articles and Concealments
Successful candidates will be issued with a certificate from our Certified Training Provider and recognised by the Department of Transport (DfT) and Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) that is valid for 24 months.
Aim: The ensure that trainees know the threat to the aviation industry.
Aim: To ensure that trainees understand the organisation of aviation security and the role they play to contribute to security.
Aim: To ensure that trainees understand what they must do to establish a robust and resilient aviation security culture.
Module aim: To ensure that trainees understand the nature of cargo and mail
Module Aim: To ensure that trainees understand the requirements for the acceptance and dispatch of secure air cargo and mail
Module Aim: To ensure that trainees are able to respond appropriately to prohibited articles.
